Yes. As per the Indian Nursing Council and Government of India regulations, a valid NEET score is mandatory for admission into the B.Sc Nursing programme. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
2. What stream should I have studied in Class 12 for B.Sc Nursing?
You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Bi.P.C) in your 10+2. Students from Arts or Commerce streams are not eligible for B.Sc Nursing.
3. Is B.Sc Nursing better than GNM?
Both are excellent pathways, but B.Sc Nursing is a full degree programme that offers broader career opportunities, higher salaries, eligibility for government officer-level posts, and pathways to postgraduate studies like M.Sc Nursing. 6. What is the difference between B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing?
B.Sc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate programme for students directly after 10+2. Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a 2-year programme designed for students who have already completed GNM and wish to upgrade their qualification to a degree level.
